FAMILY ACTIVITIES

The ASP has been providing Educators and Outreach Coordinators for over 30 years with astronomy-focused activities designed specifically for groups both in and outside of the classroom.  Adding to our recently launched Astronomy @ Home series, we have taken some of our well-tested, popular activities and created versions for families to use at home.   • Create a whole sky of constellations on these yummy pan cookies!
    Suggested Age: 6–10 years

  • Young children can learn to pay attention to the Moon by making a simple drawing.
    Suggested Age: 3-5 years

  • Here’s an “out of this world” brain challenge for the whole family.
    Suggested Age: 5-7 years
